Oversees multiple projects or one larger project. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. In addition to duties of Project Manager II, takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, develops schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. Communicates with a Senior Project Manager, Functional Area Manager, or Senior leadership regarding status of specific projects. Responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects requiring the integration of multiple functional organizations, within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objectives . Oversees all aspects of projects, provides leadership for project team members and works within the framework of established Project Management process and procedures.
Required to have a BS in Project Management or Construction Management and / or 10 + Years of experience in Operations, Maintenance or Projects. Nuclear experience is preferred, active or prior PMP certification preferred.
