    Position Description:

    Our company is looking for a general building contractor who can be a qualifying party for the following licenses in the state of Arizona:

     

    General Engineering (A) license (A-4 through A-19)

    General Commercial Contractor (B-1) license

    Boilers, Steamfitting, and Process Piping (C-4) license

    Electrical (C-11) license

     

    This position requires passing a Business and Law Examination upon request of a license. We are looking for someone who can pass the examinations for licenses, as well as the experience time criteria. Preference will be given for individuals who already hold more than one license.

     

    Essential Functions:

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    1.    Pass state issued examinations for any license currently held

    2.    Help hire workers for a construction job

    3.    Pass the Business and Law Examination

     

    Competencies:

    1.    Technical Capacity.

    2.    Communication Proficiency.

     

    Physical Demands:

    Requires ability to have good vision and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. May have to stand for extended periods of time. Includes bending, kneeling, sitting, walking, crouching, hand and neck dexterity.

     

    Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:

    1.    A, B-1, C-4, or C-11 license

    2.    Necessary experience, knowledge, and skills to perform or supervise the contracting work
