Position Requirements

  • Three (3) to five (5) years or more recent nuclear maintenance experience at operating plants preferred 
  • Maintenance skills fundamentals, tooling use and proven knowledge in maintenance worker process, procedure adherence and equipment manuals/drawings.
  • Prior utility electrical, instrumentation or mechanical shop experience, either as direct employee or seconded worker preferred.
  • Successful radworker training and basic radiological work area knowledge; US industry NANTEL experience
  • Prior NMAP certification and/or achievement of basic nuclear utility qualifications at an INPO or WANO sanctioned facility; for example:
    • Mechanical: testing, alignment and repair of rotating equipment, valve repacking, set grinding and lapping, MOST quals
    • Electrical: ground fault detection and troubleshooting, UPS, Inverter, switchgear and AC/DC motor maintenance
    • Instrumentation: Gauge, transmitter, channel loops, flowmeters and switch testing and calibration, AOV maintenance, alarm and indicator testing and repair

Assignment Terms

Travel, Accommodations

Business class mobilization, ground transportation, meals, accommodations, and demobilization.

Work hours and pay

Competitive wages paid monthly.  Overtime paid in accordance to host country law.

Leave

Rest and Recuperation (R&R) leave, pay and travel provided.

Assignment Duration

Typical assignments are for one to three years, but assignment length variations are available.
